As an Advanced Diver you will learn how to dive past the skills of your initial training.   You will advance your skills, knowledge, and competence.

This course allows you dive on local dive trips that require a specialty rating like wreck, night, or deep.  This is not an intro course, discover course, or advanced adventure diver course.  You will become a certified wreck, deep, night-low-visibility, and navigation diver.  Upon completion of the class you will be issued 4 individual specialty cards, plus an Advanced Diver Card, (note: the individual specialties will not be listed on the advanced diver card.) 

The advanced diver certification requires a minimum of 25 logged dives plus four specialty classes that require 8 open water dives for the completion.  Because of the familiarity with your equipment that is required, we must ask that you own all of your gear to complete this rating (reg, BCD, etc.).  Additionally, the deep diver class requires that you dive with a redundant air system (pony bottle).

Blue Wave Scuba has designed a discount program for 4 specialty courses listed below to acquire your Advanced Diver rating.  The course is typically completed in 2 weekends, plus two nights of lectures, along with home study, and includes 8 total dives.
